a peek into my playlists
it’s no secret that to dance you need music. okay, well you don’t NEED music but a lot of times we do dance to music! as a choreographer and dance teacher i am constantly trying to find new music to choreograph to, or the perfect beats for my technique classes. a lot of teachers don’t particularly love to share their music, for fear of ideas being taken and i fully understand that notion. however, i personally choose to operate under the feeling that sharing is important - we all have enough ideas where even the same music would present different routines!

i’m told very often, ‘how do you find your music?!’ to which i just typically respond…. i listen to a lot of music! which is so true, but i use spotify and i search, and i search, and i SEARCH. i am always on the lookout for new music and today - i’m giving you a sneak peek into my playlists and all my music on spotify.
